Raw Food Marathon Day Ten

Wow - out of nowhere I've eaten cooked today!

 

My wife and I were reminiscing about the birth of our two daughters and the tricks we tried (old wives tales mainly) in the last week before their birth.

The tricks involved walking up stairs, being amorous(!) and ... eating curry (& beers; sip of Guiness for my wife and several for me!).

 

Anyway after some spouse pressure, I found myself at an Irish bar (when I'm drinking and not 100% raw) in Chiang Mai with the family, no Guiness for me, oddly enough they sold unpasteurised unfiltered German beer! After inbibing a couple of Dunkels and reminiscing some more we ended up at an Indian restaurant nearby. Despite a side salad and a couple of digestive enzymes (purchased as an emergency); after a chapati, lentil soup and chick pea curry I was done for. To think I used to eat that sort of rubbish every other day 5+ years ago. What was crazier still was my family who are 50% raw, and who have been themselves higher since I started 100% raw 10 days ago, are all complaining of feeling 'heavy'.

Madness.

 

Oh well I'm glad it's out of the way. Nothing like failing to spur you on to future success.

 

Confession over!

 

Of course it will all be worth it if my beautiful baby girl enters the world tomorrow :-)

 

Back on track tomorrow ...

 

Raw Food consumed today:

 

Breakfast - 1 banana & 1/3 cup blueberries, 2 tablespoons of green powder & hemp protein powder & apple juice smoothie, 1 banana & 1/3 cup mango and apple juice smoothie.

Lunch - 1/3 water melon, 1 pink grapefruit, 8 segments of organic pomelo

Evening Meal - side salad with my cooked poisons of choice ;-)

Snacks - 1large kale/organic cucumber/celery/beetroot juice and 1 small organic carrot & apple juice

 

Training/Exercise today:

 

Run - 7 miles

Bike -

Gym -

Yoga -
