Raw Food Diet and Running

Food Diary

I will attempt to keep a food diary this week.

I have in the past tracked the percentage of carbs, protein and fat (using www.fitday.com etc.) but it's rather time consuming.

I went to T&G Fruits wholesale market today and bought:

5kg tomatoes on the vine GBP 4.50

10kg raw beetroot GBP 5.50

22 peaches GBP 4.50

26 nectarines GBP 4.50

12kg Cox's apples GBP 15.00

The apples were a rather expensive purchase, but they really are delicious and local (Hailsham, East Sussex)!

The value for money with the beetroot is astonishing.

I've taken the knee support off, and I'm relearning how to walk without a limp.

No chance of running yet, I'm hoping to give that a go towards the end of the week.

Raw Food consumed today:

Breakfast - Pint of beetroot and apple (Cox) juice & one large Cox's apple + vitamineralgreen mixed in water

Lunch - Pink grapefruit, two nectarines, one large Cox's apple, 1/2kg tomatoes

Evening Meal - Two nectarines then 1/2kg tomatoes, 100g herb salad, 1/2 cucumber, 2 large sticks celery

Snacks -  Two peaches & three large Cox's apples, one nectarine, two bananas

Cooked Food consumed today:

Note - if there is nothing against either the Raw Food or Cooked Food consumed today meals, I haven't had a chance to update the info.
