Raw Food Diet and Running

Disaster! I've sprained my right knee (doing an "It's a knockout" race with an 8 year old!).

Nothing torn or broken, the drug pushing folks at the hospital reckon 7-10 days to heal.

Three people tried to get me to take NSAIDs!


I'll have to see how it goes, but I think it will be a couple of weeks before I return to running :-(


A few runs not logged from the last entry ...





Raw Food consumed today:

Breakfast - Pint OJ, 2 nectarines, 2 pears

Lunch - one large honey dew melon

Evening Meal -

Snacks - large carrot/beetroot/greens/cucumber/ginger juice, one medium banana


Cooked Food consumed today:


Breakfast -

Lunch -

Evening Meal -

Snacks -


Note - if there is nothing against either the Raw Food or Cooked Food consumed today meals, I haven't had a chance to update the info.

Honestly I do eat a lot!
