Where's my stamina gone?!

Three weeks ago I came off a 7 day water fast at www.suradetox.com and although I feel lighter (& speed work in the gym is easier), my endurance/stamina has taken a beating. The Brighton Half marathon is a week today, I hope I can at least complete it and break 2 hours!

Yesterday I ran one of my favourite 7 mile runs over the South Downs. I can usually run it in 56-60 mins, this took my over 68 mins ...

I'm going to run an 8-10 miler on Tuesday and bar some speed work on Thursday that will have to do for my race prep!

On the food front I'm really enjoying grapes, apples and pears at the moment.

I'm still eating some cooked food (esp. curried pumpkin) however I'm enjoying it with leafy greens and sprouts in very large quantities :-)

I've started the day today with my favourite green drink VitamineralGreen; it's raw and vegan and you can drink it just mixed with water or of course in a smoothie.
