Raw Food Diet and Running

Foraging

My family and I spent a lovely morning in the company of Sarah Furey and budding herbalists.

She took a group of us on a guided walk around a field at the foot of Ditchling Beacon where we discovered red clover, self-heal, ground ivy, bedstraw, elderberries, blackberries, hawthorn & rosehip berries,  which were enjoyed either in their raw state or as a tincture or syrup which Sarah had prepared. I particularly liked the elderberry syrup or 'rob'! The tinctures were much nicer than the ones I had tried 8 years ago for my IBS! Perhaps my taste buds have changed :-)

I managed a hill run/sprint too :-)

More on Sarah, herbs etc.
