Raw Food Marathon Day Sixty
Mile intervals.
This week's training has been a bit mixed up.
I've got my unscheduled (from the original training plan) 15km race this Sunday, and the (unscheduled) 12km mountain run the following Sunday, which means I've dropped mileage. Coach isn't too concerned, but we're both aware I need to get back to those long runs straight afterwards!
Today I decided to do some relatively easy mile intervals, ahead of Sunday's race. I will go for a long bike ride tomorrow.
Three miles at 14.1kph, 14.6kph & 15.1kph with 200m @ 9.6kph recovery.
Max heart rate only 175, average 161. I warmed up for 10 minutes at 11.4kph. beforehand (average 139).
Raw Food consumed today:
Breakfast - Smoothie; 2 bananas, 1 cup blueberries, 4 apples (juiced), 3 heaped teaspoons Yaoh Hemp Protein Powder, 3 heaped teaspoons Vitamineral Green powder
Lunch - Smoothie; 5 large organic bananas, 1 young coconut water, 200g young kale
Evening Meal - 1kg Japanese Musk Melon (grown in Thailand), 1 medium carrot/celery/kale juice, 2 large green salads with tomatoes & thai herbs, papaya salad, 1 avocado
Snacks - 1 large orange, 1 mango, 2 green apples

Run - 7.35km
