Raw Food Diet and Running

Raw Food Marathon Day Thirty

Negative Split Tempo

Today called for a negative split tempo run; 2 miles @ 7:40, 2 miles @ 7:20 and 2 miles @ 7:00.

I overslept and missed the opportunity to run outside, so I decided to run in the gym mid-morning right before my weights.

The run felt pretty comfortable.

HR tempo

Max HR 170, average 156. Not great but I'm improving.

The kids had fruit and salad all day (although a cake bake sale for charity meant some cooked food for them in the afternoon).

My eldest Esme is enjoying the fruit lunches, Phoebe had a salad today along with fruit. Both said they were still hungry. Dried apricots to the rescue tomorrow I think! We've just sat down and enjoyed a large raw salad as a family :-)

I'll probably eat some dates and apples later on this evening.

I've ran out of bananas !!! Urgent trip to the market tomorrow!
