After drinking a little too much alcohol (red wine) on Sunday I felt a bit sluggish yesterday, however an hour's weights at lunchtime followed by a 6 mile recovery run soon put me back on track. I am eating a lot of fruit now. Pomello, bananas, dragon fruit and durian are my current favourites.
Durian; I've been eating 2 or 3 segments a couple of times a week, even adding some to my green smoothies.
Today calls for 7 x 1000m intervals at speeds ranging from 14.5 kph through to 15.3 kph. Far too hot to run outside. The gym and treadmill beckon this afternoon.
Starting from June 1st I am going to keep a detailed food diary for a week. As usual my training log details can be found here. I haven't done a lot of running outside so the MotionBased log is rather quiet.
