My
London marathon
training begins in earnest this week and today just happens to be a rest day, nothing wrong with that!
I have just received my 13-week training plan from my coach
Josh Scully
OK so why the rest day today. Well, I ran in a local
6.8km race yesterday and I have decided to just
do some weights and core work instead.
After finally throwing off the marathon voodoo in December last year (first completed marathon in 3:39:18 with no
cramp, albeit only run at long run pace). For details of how I got rid of the curse read

I am not sure what shape or form my blog is going to take going forwards.
This will do for now. I won't post every day, for every day details of my training click
here.
Today I ate the following Raw Food...
Breakfast - pomello
Lunch - bananas, dates, prunes
Dinner - green papaya, sprouted mung beans, lettuce, alfalfa, sprouted peanuts, tomatoes, celery & cucumber
Snacks - dates, apples
I've been reading...
"Why We Run: A Natural History"; Bernd Heinrich.
Written by a zoologist and 'successful' runner. Excellent.
